Creating an Effective Elevator Speech

Tuesday, September 12, 10:00 – 11:15 a.m., Workforce Resource Center, 705 E. Market Street, Suite E, Leesburg
An elevator speech is a clear, brief message or “commercial” about you. It’s typically 60-90 seconds and shares with the listener who you are as a job seeker, what type of job or position you are seeking and how you can benefit a company or organization. When mastered, the elevator speech allows you to present your skills and qualifications in a confident, concise, and engaging manner. It can be used when asked in an interview “tell me about yourself” or at a career fair when introducing yourself to a recruiter. It is a proven and effective tool to help you land the job you desire!
