Major Craig Schleiden serves as the Commander of the Administrative and Technical Services Division. He began his career with the Sheriff’s Office in 1998 as a 911 dispatcher and transferred to a field deputy position in 2000. He worked in several capacities in the Field Operations Division as a Field Training Officer, Community Policing Officer, Sergeant, and 2nd Lieutenant. He later was named the agency’s project manager for replacing the Public Safety Technology Systems. He has served as the Assistant Division Commander for the Administrative and Technical Services Division and the Operational Support Division. He also returned to the Emergency Communications Center to serve as the Commander. He graduated from the Professional Executive Leadership School (PELS) session #50 and has attended the FBI-LEEDA Command Leadership Institute.
