Joseph L. Robinson

  1. On December 15, 1969, the body of a black male victim was found near the intersection of Evergreen Mills and Watson Roads. The decedent was later identified as Joseph Lee Robinson of Fauquier County. An autopsy revealed that Robinson had been shot multiple times. Based on interviews conducted with relatives and friends of the decedent, Detectives charged two men with the murder. The charges were later dropped at the Preliminary Hearing. The Cold Case Unit is currently looking to speak with anyone who may have known the decedent, or who may have information related to the murder.
