   The process of renaming a number of roads throughout Loudoun County has begun. The process is beginning with several neighborhood roads and will continue with the renaming of Route 7 and Route 50. The entire process is expected to be completed in mid-to-late 2023. The renaming of these roads is a result of the Board of Supervisors’ September 2020 decision to inventory and review Confederate and segregationist symbols in the county and the Board’s December 2021 decision to rename Routes 7 and 50.
