FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Loudoun County, VA (March 27, 2022) – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an assault that occurred at a residence Saturday afternoon in the South Riding area.
A teenager reported several subjects arrived at his residence on Scarlett Square around 4 p.m. and confronted him. At that time, the teenager was assaulted by the subjects. One of the subjects was believed to have a possible firearm in his waistband. The teenager’s parents intervened, and the subjects fled the area. Several of the subjects had also come to the house earlier that same afternoon.
There were minor injuries reported from the assault and all three victims declined further medical attention.
At this point in the investigation, it is believed the incident is connected to a previously reported assault involving several teenagers that occurred Friday night. Some of the teenagers involved are known to each other and the LCSO is working to identify all of those involved, and the circumstances that led up to the reported assaults.
