Loudoun County Transit will resume Commuter Bus Service from Loudoun County to stops in and around Washington, D.C. on Monday, July 13, 2020. This follows Loudoun County’s move into Phase Three of the “Forward Virginia” reopening plan, which gradually eases restrictions meant to slow the spread of COVID-19. The Commuter Bus routes and schedules are new and provide reduced service as follows:
Loudoun County Transit has made service changes following the guidance of local, state and national health authorities to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure on its buses. These changes include face coverings and physical distancing requirements and more frequent bus cleanings. To allow for physical distancing on buses, seating capacity has been reduced to 50%.
