Loudoun Firefighter Charged with Narcotics Possession & Petit Larceny
Loudoun County, VA- A Loudoun County career firefighter was arrested yesterday and charged with possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny.
Bernard E. Gottholm, 37, of Boonsboro, MD, was charged with felony possession of a controlled substance and petit larceny after another employee’s personal prescription medications and an electronic device were found missing from an office at the Loudoun County Fire and Rescue Training Academy in Leesburg, VA.
Mr. Gottholm was taken into custody by the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office after turning himself over to authorities on December 18, 2018. He was later released from the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on an unsecured bond.
This case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office.
