FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE July 25, 2016 Contact: Kraig Troxell, Public Information Officer, 703-771-5278 [email protected] Alex Kowalski, Public Information Officer, 703-777-0625 [email protected] LCSO Seeks Public’s Assistance to Help Identify Suspect in Ashburn Armed Robbery Loudoun County, Virginia- Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have released a photograph of the suspect involved in the July 25th armed robbery at the pharmacy inside an Ashburn Giant Food store. Shortly before 9:30 a.m. this morning the above subject entered the Giant Pharmacy located at 43670 Greenway Corporate Drive in Ashburn. The suspect presented a note demanding prescription narcotics. A weapon was implied but not produced during the robbery and he made off with an undisclosed amount of prescription drugs. No one was injured during the robbery. Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division have released surveillance video image of the suspect who is described as a white male in his 20s to early 30s. He is approximately 5'8" to 5'10” with a slender build. He was wearing a blue sweatshirt with hoody and blue jeans and a ball cap. The male was also wearing sunglasses and white bandage tape which concealed the suspect's face and he was walking with a cane while inside the store.
