Loudoun County, VA- Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have arrested a Chantilly man in connection with an October 28 domestic-related homicide.
The suspect, Frank D. Price, Jr., 47, was charged today with first-degree murder in connection with the death of his wife, 36-year-old Winsome Ann Marie Price.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to the victim’s home on Gayfeather Drive in Chantilly shortly before 8:15 a.m. Saturday after a family member discovered the deceased adult female inside the home.
Prior to the 911 call, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious head-on crash involving the suspect around 6 a.m. in the area of Gum Spring Road and Mayhew Lane. Price was taken to Reston Hospital for minor injuries. The other driver was also taken to Reston Hospital with serious injuries. She has since been transferred to The George Washington University Hospital where she is recovering from serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The circumstances surrounding the cause of the crash remain under investigation.
The investigation determined the suspect called a family member to come to the home prior to leaving the house and being involved in the crash. The family member later discovered the victim deceased inside the home. Price remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center on no bond.
