KKK Fliers are Located across County Communities
Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is working with local and federal authorities to investigate Ku Klux Klan (KKK) recruitment fliers found by residents in Loudoun County.
Shortly after 11:54 a.m. yesterday, the LCSO was notified by a resident that he located KKK propaganda material on the running trail near Smith Creek Circle and Scotland Heights Road in Round Hill. The flyers were laying on the trail held down by a hard candy.
The same day at 3:50 p.m., a resident stated that she located propaganda material near her mailbox box, in the 35000 Block of Round Knoll Court in Round Hill.
Similar incidents have been reported to both the Leesburg Police Department and the Purcellville Police Department.
LCSO investigators are working with the Leesburg and Purcellville Police Departments, as well as with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), to determine the origin of fliers. There is no indication any of the households who received the fliers were targeted.
Anyone with any information regarding these cases are asked to contact the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office at 703-777-1021. You may also submit a tip through the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office app. The Loudoun Sheriff app is available on the iTunes App Store and Google Play.
