Loudoun County, VA- An investigation into a shooting in Ashburn has determined the incident to be isolated. It involved two people known to each other and occurred inside a car.
LCSO deputies responded to the 21000 block of Blossom Hill Terrace in Ashburn shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday where a male was suffering a single gunshot wound. A female and an adult male were located in a vehicle in the parking lot of the apartment complex. The adult male victim was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives determined there were no other subjects involved in the case and there is no threat to the public. The firearm involved in the incident was recovered near the scene.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
