Loudoun County, VA – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported sexual assault of a juvenile that occurred Friday night in the Lansdowne area.
On Saturday, LCSO Deputies were called to the Lansdowne Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital where the victim arrived and reported she was sexually assaulted the previous evening.
The teenager reported sometime between 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. on Friday, March 16, she was walking in the area in the 43700 block of Lees Mill Square when she was grabbed by an unknown male and sexually assaulted.
The suspect was described as a tall Hispanic male, approximately 18-years-old, and was wearing a black sweatshirt with the hood up and jeans with holes in them. He was further described as having a short beard and a mustache and had short curly hair with a small white patch of hair or bald spot on the back of his head. The suspect was said to have a red and gold U.S. Marine Corp lanyard hanging from a pocket of his jeans.
After the assault, the suspect left the area on foot. The victim went home and reported the incident to her family the following evening.
Detectives with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office have released a composite sketch of the suspect. Anyone with any information regarding the possible identity of the suspect is asked to contact Detective J. Oksanen of the LCSO Special Victims Unit at 703-777-0475.
