Loudoun County, VA- The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) is investigating a shooting that occurred early this morning at a residence in Ashburn.
The LCSO was notified of the incident after the victim was dropped off by acquaintances at the Lansdowne Campus of Inova Loudoun Hospital. The acquaintances attempted to leave the area but were located nearby.
The victim, an adult male, is being treated for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The shooting is believed to have occurred inside a residence in the 43500 block of Dunhill Cup Square shortly before 5 a.m.
Detectives with the LCSO are currently in interviewing several subjects at this time and it appears the victim and the suspect are known to each other.
