Can You Identify Suspect in two Robberies in Loudoun?
Loudoun County, VA – The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public's assistance to help identify a suspect involved in two early morning robberies.
Shortly after midnight July 25, a male suspect entered the 7-11 store in the 46000 Block of S. Cottage Road in Sterling. During the robbery, the suspect presented cash to make a purchase. As the employee opened the register, the suspect reached over the counter. The employee attempted to stop the suspect and was struck in the face with the suspect’s handgun. The suspect stole cash and fled on foot from the store. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
At approximately 3 a.m., the LCSO responded to the Sunoco located in the 24000 Block of Defender Drive for a report of a robbery. The same male suspect entered the store and attempted to make a purchase with cash. The cashier opened the register and the suspect reached over the counter. The employee attempted to stop the suspect, but the suspect was able to take cash and fled the area on foot.
The suspect is described as a Black male with dreadlocks. He is approximately 30 to 40-years-old, 5’10” tall and 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a camouflage long sleeve shirt, black pants and a brown bandana around his head.
