Loudoun County, VA: Three males were apprehended near Leesburg Thursday afternoon after a smash and grab style larceny at a Dulles Town Center jewelry store.
Around 3:30PM two male suspects entered Fink’s Jewelry store inside the Dulles Town Center. One of the suspects used a small blunt object to damage a glass jewelry case. A second suspect grabbed a number of high-dollar watches and the suspects fled the scene. The watches were valued at over $100,000.
Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene and a lookout was posted to deputies and neighboring law enforcement agencies. A Loudoun County Sheriff’s Deputy located the suspect vehicle traveling westbound in the area of Route 7 and Battlefield Parkway. The deputy initiated a traffic stop and three suspects were taken into custody.
Deandre T. Magee, 22, of Hagerstown, MD, was charged with larceny and conspiracy to commit larceny. Magee remains held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center without bond.
The other two male suspects, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old from Michigan, were charged with grand larceny, conspiracy to commit larceny, and destruction of property. The names of the teenagers cannot be released due to the fact they are juveniles. The two teenagers remain held at the Loudoun County Juvenile Detention Center.
