Loudoun County, VA: The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a reported attempted armed robbery at a home in the 14200 block of Milltown Road in Lovettsville, Virginia.
Around 10AM Thursday, August 30, 2012, the homeowner reported that they were awakened by their dogs. The resident discovered an unknown subject inside their home. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded cash and jewelry. Nothing was taken.
The suspect fled the scene on a small cruiser-style motorcycle and traveled southbound on Milltown Road. The suspect was described as a White male, in his mid-30’s, with shoulder length red hair and red facial hair. He was further described as being 5’8-5’9” tall with a thin build. He was wearing a black t-shirt, dark shorts, and ankle boots at the time of the incident.
