• Total Vaccine Doses Administered - Loudoun: 426,167 (up 8,034 since last report) I  Virginia: 8,402,939 (up 101,503 since last report)

Loudoun County Update

• Walk-in Service Now Available at Loudoun Vaccine Clinic: As we reported in an earlier blog post today, Loudoun County is now offering walk-in service at the COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Dulles Town Center, 21090 Dulles Town Circle in Sterling. 
  • Anyone 12 years of age and older is eligible for a free vaccination on a first-come, first-served basis during the COVID-19 vaccination clinic’s scheduled hours of operation; no appointment is necessary. Please note that adolescents ages 12 to 17 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 
  • In addition to walk-in appointments, anyone seeking a vaccine may schedule an appointment at the Loudoun vaccination clinic online or seek an appointment through another provider in the community by visiting vaccines.gov. 
  • The Loudoun vaccination clinic will be adjusting its hours throughout June. The new operating schedule is online.

• Free COVID-19 Testing Tomorrow, June 8: Loudoun County will hold another free, drive-thru COVID-19 testing event tomorrow, Tuesday, June 8, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m., at   Franklin Park, 17501 Franklin Park Drive, Purcellville (Follow signs to the baseball field parking lot.)
• The testing event is open to everyone; no age or residency requirements.
• No prescriptions or appointments necessary.
• A person does not have to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 in order to be tested.
• A PCR test (nasal swab) will be administered, which tests for the novel coronavirus. 
• Results will be available within a week. 
• No antibody testing will be offered.
• No COVID-19 vaccine will be available at this event.
• Required registration forms can be downloaded, filled out and printed in advance. They are available at loudoun.gov/COVID19testing.
