Loudoun County Update
- Upcoming COVID-19 Testing: Loudoun County is hosting a mass COVID-19 testing event February 24, 2021, and smaller twice-weekly events through March.
- February 24 Testing Event: The large-scale, free drive thru testing event will be held Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Philip A. Bolen Memorial Park, 42405 Claudia Drive in Leesburg. (Enter the park from Sycolin Road onto Crosstrail Boulevard.)
- Smaller Testing Events: The county will continue to hold twice-weekly, free drive-thru COVID-19 testing events on Tuesdays and Thursdays at multiple locations through March. These smaller events have a limited capacity but are intended to provide regular, predictable testing opportunities for the community. The next events are scheduled for February 23 and 25, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at Dulles South Recreation & Community Center, 24950 Riding Center Drive, South Riding.

- Winter and COVID-19: With cold temperatures in the forecast for this weekend, remember that scarves, ski masks, and balaclavas are not substitutes for face coverings, but you can wear them over your face mask. If it's too cold to safely open doors or windows, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevent recommends considering other approaches for reducing virus particles in the air, such as using air filtration and/or bathroom and stove exhaust fans.
