[ARCHIVED] Phase 1 of the Lovettsville Community Center to be Completed in November

In November, work for Phase 1 of the Lovettsville Community Center wraps up with the completion of the gravel parking lot and geothermal well. Meridian Construction Co., Inc., Loudoun County’s general contractor, will begin the transition to Phase 2 at the end of the month.

Construction Phase 1 Update:
  • Work to establish a sediment basin and riser structure has been completed. 
  • Excavation, installation and back fill of the 18 inch reinforced concrete storm pipe is completed. 
  • Grading and gravel placement for the parking lot will be completed by the end of November.
  • The subcontractor is progressing with drilling for the geothermal well and expects to finish by the end of November.
