Loudoun County Update
Loudoun Workforce Resource Center (WRC)
has created new virtual resources for those seeking job and career assistance during this uncertain time. From online learning and unemployment insurance to resume critiques and employment coaching, the WRC is available to assist you.
How can you get tested for COVID-19? The Loudoun County Health Department does not provide testing for COVID-19 and the department does not evaluate ill individuals. If you think you have been exposed to COVID-19 and develop a fever and
, such as a cough or difficulty breathing, call your doctor. If you do not have a doctor or your provider will not see you, call an urgent care center.

On March 19, 2020,
Loudoun County Public Schools shared
that the Loudoun County Health Department confirmed that a member of the Waxpool Elementary School staff tested positive for COVID-19. The staff member is recovering at home.
Due to COVID-19, all Virginia DMV customer service centers are closed March 18 - April 2, 2020. Driver and vehicle credentials have been extended 60 days.
Additional closures and changes to operating status have been made in county facilities:
before visiting county offices to check on the status of operations at our various facilities.
Beginning March 23, 2020, the Department of Building and Development’s lobby will be closed to the public. All of the department’s services will continue to be provided via phone, email or Loudoun Express Request during normal operating hours.
Loudoun County Public Library locations are closed until at least April 1, 2020.
