Civil Fee Changes
effective July 1, 2019.
Civil fees are assessed in accordance with specific statutes.
Some fees apply to certain filings and not to others.
The laws are subject to change annually, usually on July 1.
It is your responsibility to determine if amendments have been made to any statutes or fees referenced.

Pay in person
The following forms of payment are accepted in person at the Clerk's Office:
Discover, Master Card or Visa. A convenience fee is applied using a card: 4% or $2, whichever is greater.
Cash
Check or money order, made payable to "Clerk of Circuit Court." We do not accept starter checks.
Pay by mail
Check or money order, made payable to "Clerk of Circuit Court." We do not accept starter checks.
A $50 fee will be assessed for returned checks due to stop payment or insufficient funds.
