This project provides for the design, and construction of a W&OD pedestrian/bike bridge over Sterling Boulevard (Route 846).
When complete, the pedestrian/bike bridge will separate pedestrians, bicyclists, horseback riders, and other users of the W&OD Trail from roadway traffic on Sterling Boulevard removing the current at-grade crossing at Sterling Boulevard.
Funding sources for this project include general obligation bonds, cash proffers and local tax funding.
This project is currently in the design phase. Construction will follow the completion for the design phase and ROW activities, currently projected to be fall 2023.
