The CARE Program provides temporary assistance to residents of Loudoun County who are temporarily unable to provide veterinary care for their beloved companion animals. The program strives to preserve the bond between owners and their companion animals by providing temporary financial assistance, with the goal of keeping pets in loving homes.
How Loudoun County Animal Services Can Help
If you need assistance providing preventative or medical care for your pet, the CARE medical program can help. Loudoun County residents can receive a one-time grant to help cover medical costs. Proof of Loudoun County residence is required. To apply for assistance please complete the online form.
Spay / Neuter
The CARE Spay/Neuter program is not accepting applications at this time. Please refer to the low-cost resources flyer below for assistance with spay/neuter options.
Low Cost Resources
If you need assistance feeding your pet, support is available through the Loudoun Pet Pantry located at Loudoun Hunger Relief. For more information visit the Pet Pantry webpage or call Loudoun Hunger Relief at 703-777-5911.
We accept donations in support of the CARE Program. If you would like to donate to CARE, please make checks payable to Loudoun County Animal Services and indicate “CARE Program” in the memo section of your check. LCAS is a 170c organization and your donations to LCAS are tax deductible!
