Prior to the start of any Virginia General Assembly Session in Richmond, the Board of Supervisors collectively formulates and adopts its legislative priorities and position statements in an effort to better communicate and influence the actions of the Governor and the General Assembly. Similar to the state program, work performed by Loudoun County's federal legislative liaisons is guided by a federal agenda that is adopted on an annual basis. The federal program outlines specific projects and issues that guide work with Congress and federal agencies. The Board of Supervisors adopted its 2019 federal agenda on December 4, 2018.
