Family Briefing for the Housing Choice Voucher Program
U.S. Housing and Urban Development regulations require Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to conduct mandatory briefings for Housing Choice Voucher holders. The briefing provides a broad description of owner and family responsibilities, explains the PHA's procedures, and includes instructions on how to lease a unit. The Loudoun County Department of Housing and Community Development must ensure the family understands the program guidelines and the family’s obligations under the program. Each family will receive a briefing packet containing required documentation.
